Welcome to February and another month of Summer

February is a 9 Universal Month – 2 + 0 + 1 + 4 + 2 = 9

A short month with a lot of movement.

The number 9 month gives us the ability to release resistance and let go of any thing that needs completion.

9 also allows us to bring more compassion and unconditional love into our life.

We may also need more rest and sleep than usual because of the planetary movement.

The 9 is a better month for completing than beginning new projects.

The Planet of love, creativity and money – Venus goes direct from 1st February ( moves forward ) in the sign of Capricorn after being retrograde since 21st December 2013.

Although Venus will take a few weeks to get up to sped again, staying at 13 degrees for most of the first week in February.

13 degrees gives us time to transform our perspective and make room for amazing changes, allowing us to manifest our gifts into physical reality.

Our first Mercury Retrograde of three for the year.

The Planet Mercury moves into Retrograde on 7th February in Pisces for approximately one week and then back into Aquarius for the remaining 2 weeks, completing on 1st March.

For 3 weeks we will find ourselves going more within with our thoughts – be patient and observe, watch out for communication breakdowns, messages getting lost, delays with negotiations, misunderstandings and machinery breakdowns.

This will affect us all differently and the key is to go slowly and allow time for decisions.

Full Moon in Leo

There are no New Moons this month as they fall either side of the month which doesn’t happen very often.

The Full Moon falls in Leo on February 15th in the Southern Hemisphere at 26 degrees. You will notice the energy building from 13th.

The 26 degrees sends us a message to listen to our intuition and not follow others – we know what is best for ourselves.

Number 15 is magnetic and magical number that brings Love and Joy into your life. So enjoy the day even if it brings some challenges.

Full Moons trigger our emotional responses depending on how the sign of Leo relates to your Sun Sign.

This is an important Full Moon as it is the first big influence for us in the sign of Leo until Jupiter returns to Leo on 16th July 2014.

Watch for signs in your life that are triggered, if you are not on track with your life this Full Moon will give you a message. Any movement now will help you to make the most of the powerful expansion that can be achieved when Jupiter moves into Leo in July.

Also happening this month – Change of Sign for the Lunar Nodes

On 19th February after 18 months of North Node in Scorpio and South Node in Taurus we will have a change of signs.

Libra will be our next North Node and Aries our South Node until November 2015.

What can we expect from this change ? the positives are – increasing awareness of other peoples needs, creating win / win situations, relating harmoniously, creating peaceful environments, communicating on all levels, sharing and helping each other express their talents.

The Nodes play an important role in our soul growth. They give us information about ourselves that help us to achieve success, self confidence and balance within our personality. The Lunar Node stays in a sign for about 18 months and moves around the complete zodiac every 18 / 19 years approx. Last time we had a Libra North Node was in 1995 / 96.
